As part of the brand evolution of Destination Hotels in 2015, I was brought on to oversee the repositioning of MileNorth, a 215-room hotel in the heart of Chicago, as well as its two food and beverage outlets. The project included establishing the brand architecture (determining its brand essence, promise, and pillars), developing signature touchpoints and a voice for the property, setting design guidelines, and overseeing the production of all collateral.

As Marketing Manager, I led an overhaul of the hotel’s website by creating content, launching a blog, and executing a photo shoot of interior spaces. In addition, I managed MileNorth's e-marketing, web development, social media, reputation management, and public relations efforts. Although this role was more creative than sales-based, I also generated revenue through the ideation, development, and marketing of special offers and promotions. These deals were covered by various news outlets including the Washingtonian, which named MileNorth one of its Great Getaways.
